Match the strapping band to your strapping equipment (primary principle)
Different machines have varying requirements regarding the width, thickness, hardness and flexibility of strapping bands; choosing the wrong type can result in jamming, breakage or slippage.
1.Manual strapping machines
Prioritise thicker, more flexible types; common widths: 9mm, 11mm, 12mm and 15mm; High hardness is not required; straps that do not crack easily when bent are sufficient, and standard semi-virgin material will meet these requirements.
2.Semi-automatic strapping machines
Main specifications: 12mm width, moderate thickness, with a crisp body and smooth surface to prevent feeding jams caused by uneven thickness; prioritise semi-virgin or virgin material with consistent tensile strength.
3.Fully Automatic / High-Speed Strapping Lines
Suitable for brand-new PP strapping belt, standard widths 9mm, 11mm, 12mm; the belt must be straight, of uniform thickness, with consistent tensile strength and moderate friction; recycled material is strictly prohibited, as it is prone to breaking and causing machine jams during high-speed operation.
